Living Geometry: Your Body, Your Chart, Your Energy Field
Geometry gives us a vocabulary for experiences that are real but difficult to name. And sometimes, naming the shape of what you're living through is the first step toward understanding what it's asking of you.
The Sri Yantra And The Golden Spiral: Geometry You Can Actually Enter
The 43 triangles of the Sri Yantra are not decorative subdivisions. Each corresponds to a specific aspect of consciousness, a specific energy center, or a specific quality of experience. The entire diagram — from the outer square to the central bindu — represents the journey of awareness from the outermost, most diffuse level of experience inward to the most concentrated point of pure being.

Metatron's Cube: The Blueprint Inside Everything
Many healing traditions — Reiki among them — work with the understanding that the human energy field is not just one thing. It's layered. The physical body is the densest layer, but around and interpenetrating it are subtler fields: the etheric body (the energetic blueprint of the physical), the emotional body, the mental body, the astral body, and beyond those, even finer layers connected to higher states of consciousness.
The Flower Of Life: The Pattern That Keeps Showing Up Everywhere
The Flower of Life begins with a single circle. Then another circle is drawn with its center on the edge of the first. Then another, and another, each new circle centered on an existing intersection point. After the first ring of six circles is complete, the pattern begins to look like a flower — six petals around a central circle, all perfectly interlocking. Keep going, and the flower grows outward in every direction, each new ring of circles fitting perfectly against the last.
The Vesica Piscis: The Shape That Starts Everything
The Vesica Piscis is a geometric expression of what happens when two things — distinct, whole, each complete in themselves — choose to intersect. The two circles don't merge. They don't collapse into each other. They remain themselves, while creating something entirely new in the space between them.
The Universe Writes In Shapes
Sacred geometry is the study of that language. It's the idea — ancient, cross-cultural, and increasingly supported by science — that the universe organizes itself according to a set of recurring shapes and proportional relationships. That these patterns aren't random. That they mean something.
Planetary Patterns — The Sacred Geometry of Your Soul
Understanding planetary aspects is like finally seeing the blueprint of a house you’ve been living in your whole life. Suddenly, you understand why certain doors won’t open. You see where the light naturally shines in. You discover how to renovate—not because the house is broken, but because now you can shape it into something that feels more like you.
Sacred Geometry
Each of us has a lightbody – a gridwork of light and sacred geometry that stitches together your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self. This body radiates light and connects you to the lightbodies of others throughout the universe. We have talked before about the Merkaba – which means chariot of the soul in Hebrew – and how it connects both ancient Judaic and Egyptian metaphysic and mystical practices. The symbol of Merkaba, a star, is believed to be a divine vehicle made entirely of light and designed to connect or transport the spirit and body to higher realms. You will often find crystals shaped as Merkabas which are excellent to use in realigning your own light body frequency.
You’ll also find crystal sets shaped as the Platonic Solids – the sacred geometry building blocks of the Universe. They include the tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron. But the most powerful symbol is the triangle - hence the power of the Merkaba which is made up of three triangles, and other less obvious forms.
Crystals
When you first get a crystal home, let it sit a while. Perhaps a few days or even a week. Have a small box handy that you can place any of your crystals in when you first receive them, and then set them in a location in or outside of your home where they will be safe. (All of your magical tools in fact should take up space at your altar for a while before you consecrate and then use them). This gives them a chance to ‘breathe’ and settle in, to recognize the energy of your space and to begin to understand the role they will play in your life. You’ll need to place them somewhere where they are not exposed to the elements since some crystals can be damaged by water, by sunlight, etc.
